England & NI (SDLT)

Stamp Duty Land Tax with first-time buyer relief up to £500,000. Additional properties pay higher rates on each band.

Scotland (LBTT)

Land and Buildings Transaction Tax with first-time buyer relief on the first £175,000. Additional dwellings pay an 8% supplement on the full price.

Wales (LTT)

Land Transaction Tax with a higher nil-rate threshold but no first-time buyer relief. Additional properties use separate higher-rate bands.
